Thermoseal Group Limited is the largest UK specialist insulated glass (IG) component manufacturer and distributor supplying over 2,000 components and a wide range of Thermoseal Group Equipment (TGE) for manufacturing IG sealed units (IG sealed units are sometimes referred to as 'Dual Pane Glass' - double glazing, triple glazing or quadruple glazing). We manufacture over 50% of the components we supply to a worldwide customer base. We are the UK distributor of ScreenLine Integrated Blinds kits for Sealed Unit Manufacturers to encapsulate within their own insulated glass sealed units.

As requirements for energy efficient buildings become more stringent across Europe, there is a growing demand for triple glazing. In some places quadruple glazing is also available. As shown in the drawing below, triple glazing has a similar construction to double glazing but another pane of glass is added creating two air spaces. Please note that although this drawing includes Thermobar warm edge spacer, Thermoflex foamed spacer is also suitable for use in triple glazed units. The aim of triple glazing is to provide better thermal and sound insulation than other forms of glazing.

We are the UK distributor for ScreenLine® Integrated Blinds - a range of blind systems which we offer in kit-form to our customers to enclose within insulated glass sealed units. The blinds are made to customer specification and supplied to order with the spacer included. We do not make double glazing units or supply the windows. Venetian and Pleated Blinds are supplied in a range of different colours and sizes which are different for each type of blind and model, so there'll be blinds suited to almost every residential of commercial property.

With over 2,000 insulated glass (IG) components in our product portfolio, we are the one-stop-shop for IG sealed unit manufacturers. We supply the largest volume of spacer bar to the UK market and export many of our products to customers in over 27 countries on 5 continents. We now manufacture over 50% of the products we supply including our own Thermobar and Thermoflex Warm Edge Spacers and the multitude of bespoke fittings to complement these ranges in manufacturing highest quality double, triple and even quadruple glazing units.

Following our recent purchase of the stock and assets of North Western Lead, giving us DECRA Led®, DECRA Bevels®, DECRA Fused Tiles and the DECRA Glow® range of films, as well as accessories used with decorative application to glass, we now offer one of the largest ranges of decorative products to insulated glass (IG) sealed unit manufacturers. To date, we have invested more in our DecraLed products than in its purchase. We have made a significant investment in upgrading the machinery for making adhesive lead and electroplating and powder coating it to produce a range of finishes on the lead.

There is a definite buzz about integrated blinds, particularly in conservatories and bi-folding doors. Whether it's the opportunity to show-off with an elegant and stylish innovation, or the obvious advantages of blinds sealed within an air-tight environment, integrated blinds are winners all round. They don't get damp, dusty or dirty and they can't be abused by little hands or paws. There are many advantages to ScreenLine® integrated blinds which might not be obvious on first-look: They can offer an improvement in acoustics, additional privacy due to the edge-to-edge slats and also a reduction in heat and solar glare which can enhance the u-value of your double or even triple glazing unit.
