Astley Bridge Building Services have been established since 1999 and offer quality building services to the public who are looking for a personal service with a high attention to detail. We're a small independent builders but have the experience and knowledge that you'd expect from a larger national company. We're based in Bolton but are available to work on projects throughout the North West. Astley Bridge Building Services have transformed many houses over the years by extending the size and functionality of a house. We can source the matching brickwork for your house extension to achieve a seamless match and complement the existing property. Whether your home is traditional red brickwork, old sandstone, or a period build from the 1960's, 70's, 80's or 90's. It's always difficult to try and match old to new especially with bricks and slates, but we always try to find the closest match by sourcing reclaimed bricks to complement the existing property.

There are still quite a few things that cannot be created by reading instructions. Our knowledge and skill in joinery enables Astley Bridge Building Services to create almost anything out of wood. Natural timber is not used as much these days, but when it is you can see it is worth the effort. ABBS take great pride with our carpentry work and can create a piece to your specifications.

Do you need help with your home build and renovation project? Staircases can be either fixed or retractable, roof spars can be covered in a number of ways i.e. plasterboard with exposed perlin beams. Also staircase positioning is a main factor in all conversions. At Astley Bridge Building Services we can advise and plan the best route to take.

Astley Bridge Building Services have a team of floor fitters that can install laminate flooring, reclaimed old planks or new engineered planks. Whichever you choose they will create a stunning finish. Reclaimed wooden floors can create a quality effect and last forever. If you'd like your flooring to match the period of your home, we can source recycled parquet flooring from reclamation yards. At some stage, the flooring would have been used in an old factory, but once its laid, sanded and stained it looks impressive.

Due to high demand Astley Bridge Building Services are now offering complete floor packages. We offer a range of floor screeds from sand and cement, to pumped and liquid screed. Underfloor heating is a must on new builds, extensions and commercial projects. It heats your home more efficiently and people want the practicality of underfloor heating. ABBS source all our floor screed from the national specialist suppliers. This ensures that all materials used meet British standards (BSEN13813) as it is mechanically batched.
