Andrew's career was inspired by his father, a coachbuilder and skilled woodworker who helped to build ash-framed vehicles. Andrew was also drawn to metalwork and woodwork at school, and that encouraged him to study Art & Design at Hereford College of Art and furniture making at Hereford College of Technology.
