Blackwell Projects Ltd. was founded in 1998 by Director Mark Blackwell. A background in cabinet making trained Mark's eye to the fine detail and quality for which Blackwell Projects are renowned. After working in the shopfitting and construction industry for over a decade, he saw an opportunity to offer customers a complete, coordinated service where all specialist trades, materials, and subcontractors involved in bespoke refurbishments were closely managed to achieve a high quality, client-focused finish.

Blackwell Projects Ltd. were engaged to complete the remodelling of a large family home within the leafy London suburb of Barnes. A project that required careful planning and programming from the outset, the installation of a new feature staircase over four floors whist still fitting out high end bathrooms and joinery on each floor could easily have caused access issues. All ran as planned with a high level of finish throughout. A boosted hot and cold water system ensured high pressures throughout the properties taps and shower heads as requested within the client brief.

An extensive remodeling and refurbishment of a six storey private house in Little Venice, London. Blackwell Projects Ltd. undertook a complete renovation of a six-storey town house for my husband and I in Little Venice during 2011. Our architect, Alex Greenway, who had worked with the firm on other projects, recommended Blackwell Projects. The project involved quite complex structural work on the lower floor as we opened up the space and a high specification refurbishment throughout. The scheme involved a sensitive, contemporary extension at the rear of the property, creating a large open-plan family living area with a dramatic double-height space between ground and lower ground floor levels.
