P. Garlick Decorating was set up by Peter Garlick in 1980. He learnt the trade whilst working for a small local builder over a number of years. At first, P. Garlick Decorating mainly undertook sub contract work on new builds, refurbishments, offices and factories. Peter then started to get domestic work through word of mouth and gained a regular client base. The amount of work has continued to grow to the point where 95% of Peter's work is now domestic with small builders making up the rest. Throughout his career, Peter has worked on the show houses at eight Ideal Home Exhibitions in London and Birmingham.
