From their coastal workshop in Cornwall, Arnold and his team of artisans, design and create honest, authentic, hand-crafted bespoke kitchens. With a love of all things eclectic, niche and stylish, Arnold cut his teeth buying and selling vintage curiosities, furniture and future collectables. From rare records in dusty backrooms throughout Africa, to flea markets in Paris, Arnold continues to travel all over the globe to search for interesting pieces. We often source original pieces to blend with the overall look of the kitchen.

We are one of a very few companies that specialise in creating concrete worktops and outdoor kitchens that are cast in-situ on site. This enables the entire worktop to be cast in one piece, regardless of size or shape. We can create a totally seamless, polished concrete surface with no joins anywhere! The concrete worktops are hand-trowelled and burnished giving them a unique, hand crafted look. This is not something that can be achieved with a pre-cast worktop. Our concrete worktops start from a thickness of 45mm.

A selective mix of materials were used to create the space including brass, copper, steel, concrete, wood and vintgage tiles. Handmade copper sink, hand-built antique globe brass taps (assembled in our workshop), weathered copper kick-plates. Original barn siding reclaimed timber on doors. The concrete worktops were cast in-situ to give a seamless design.

We designed this spacious kitchen and interior with an emphasis on creating a modern, rustic farmhouse look. This was achieved by creating freestanding bespoke cabinets and using three different Annie Sloane chalk paint colours and mixing up the materials such as polished concrete and limed oak surfaces. To further enhance the individual freestanding feel we used detailing and moulding only on some cabinets and included beautiful reclaimed taps and vintage looking handles. The overall effect is very welcoming, warming and unique.

A sink with running water is an essential element to your outdoor kitchen. Arnolds kitchens can build in any sink of your choice to your concrete worktop or build in a concrete sink for a seamless and characterful look. A built-in BBQ or Grill will become the focal point of your outdoor kitchen. Current popular choices include Rshults (as shown in these images) and the Big Green Egg (an insulated ceramic BBQ, that looks great integrated into the worktop). Shelving or cabinets can be a useful addition to your kitchen to give you space to store plates, charcoal or other items you need when dining outdoors.
