To make the most of the beautiful garden views and the large spaces that Cambridge and Hertfordshire properties are home to, our lift and slide doors create panoramic walls of glass. Lift and slide doors patio doors are made with strong stainless steel rollers and a lifting gear so that large panes of glass can be easily opened. There is no need for tugging, pushing or heaving. They have been engineered to slide and glide effortlessly so every member of the family can operate without difficulty.

Firstly: We offer Aluminium, PVCu and wood window replicas such as the Evolution Range, as well as our unique Timber Windows and Doors. Secondly: We do not employ pushy double glazing salesmen (or anyone pushy for that matter). Believing that you are knowledgeable and mature enough to tell us what you want whether that be a bow window or a folding door. A popular frame material for conservatories is UPVC, strengthened throughout with steel and aluminium sections for rigidity. Available in foiled PVC finishes, the standard colours are supplemented by the option of a colour bonding process which allows us to offer literally any coloured conservatory you would like. All of the conservatories are bespoke, being limited only by your imagination (or possibly budget?). Roof glazing can be specified as self cleaning, sun reflective, fade-free and all with incredibly low U Values providing amazing performance.

A conservatory that is too warm in summer and too cold in winter is not offering you the best that you can expect from a garden room. Some companies are wrongly advising that building control regulations do not apply if changing a conservatory roof to a tiled one. We urge caution in this regard and advise that you speak or write to building control before you part with your money. Structural calculations are often required due to the additional load imposed. Even the lightest imitation tile system can weigh twice as much as some conservatory roofs.

Perhaps you already have a builder but would like to specify your own choice of roof lantern for a new extension. We offer traditional timber roof lanterns plus contemporary glass pitched roofs in aluminium that allow light to flood into your new room. Our GlassBox usually has virtually flat glazed rooflights that retain the square feel of the room but still provide a wonderful view of the sky above the extension. We offer roof-lights in standard sizes if you have already gone over budget or made to measure bespoke designs.

All of our Verandas are made from a high-quality aluminium frame, powder coated in any RAL colour, and come with a choice of glass or polycarbonate for the roof. Verandas are compatible with a range of options such as side screens heating and lighting. Plan your outdoor parties and social gatherings with the confidence that they will not be cancelled by poor weather. Our garden verandas offer protection against UV rays, rain and are suitable for use all year round.

Here at Admiral, we have been designing glass rooms for over thirty years. During this time, we have noticed a major switch in the type of conservatory that is being asked for by homeowners. Thirty years ago, prospective clients really had no idea of their options on conservatory design. The only style available was a lean-to garden room with either a thin polycarbonate roof or standard sealed unit glazing. Once the public became interested en-mass however, new systems companies such as Ultraframe designed a range of more interesting roof designs such as Victorian and Edwardian pitched roofs as well as a hipped roof to create a P Shaped Conservatory.

Window frame insulation coupled with softcoat double glazing can be manufactured as a modern window or using our Evolution Window. Woodgrain finishes and many colour options are available to match any age or design of home. Replacement windows in PVC can be as contemporary or traditional as you like nowadays. You do not have to settle for shiny white plastic window that is the same as every other cloned house in the street. Many of our windows and doors are hand crafted, featuring mechanical joints similar to wooden windows as well as iron furniture like monkey tail handles and peg stays.
