Alexander Blast Cleaning and Painting Ltd is a family run business that was formed in 1992 as Alan Robertson Trading as then in 2002 as a limited company. Since established, our company has grown and become reputed for quality. Steel shot blasting is the most widely used process for cleaning, stripping and improving a metal surface. The grade or size of steel shot will determine the ultimate finish achieved on the surface of the metal. The rough texture of the chilled iron steel shots we use allows for paint to adhere to the surface more easily. Sometimes needs arise where a custom fabricated solution is needed to provide a solution to a problem. An example of this would be a garden gate with a non-standard opening. We can fabricate solutions for most problems and our experienced and trained fabrication team can also work to technical drawings to fabricate your work. We have years of experience with the fabrication of all types of architectural and structural metal work. We specialise in refurbishment of cast iron items (such as bridges) but can work on other structures when needs arise.
