I am an experienced solid fuel appliance installer and chimney sweep, trained and accredited by HETAS and the National Association of Chimney Sweeps. I am thorough and safety is of paramount importance to me. I am friendly and trustworthy and my priority is providing excellent service, good value and satisfaction to all my customers. My chimney sweeping career began soon after I moved to into a Victorian terraced house with an open fireplace. One cold evening I decided to light up a fire and all seemed great until later that night when I went to bed.
I fit log and multi fuel burners, both freestanding and inset. I perform or arrange all aspects of the installation including breaking out alcoves, lintels, plastering, gas fire removal, wooden beams, surrounds etc. I am happy to complete the whole process from an initial consultation, through to purchasing your stove, making any required building alterations and fitting the stove. Or any part of it. I can include the wood burner too, or you can purchase this yourself. I am happy to provide details on the most appropriate burner, talk through the options and advise on where to look and who has the best deal.
Whether it's a routine annual sweep, a chimney you are considering using for the first time, or a problem with smoke in the room, or you are considering a new log burner or multi fuel stove then contact me for free advice or to arrange a visit. I sweep all manner of chimneys and flues from a variety of appliances or absent appliances. I use rods, brushes and an industrial vacuum. The local area is covered with sheets and the fireplace is sealed off to prevent any mess. I install wood burning and multi fuel stoves.
