We are a small dedicated family run business employing a professional team and take pride in the service we provide. We offer a specialized radiator and fireplace restoration service at our workshops in Basildon Essex. We have a new built to spec spray booth, polishing workshops, a massive blasting unit, and general workshops for repairing/building old and new radiators. This is where we provide our abrasive blasting, metal polishing and re-coating services. Dan Neate has been active in the architectural salvage world for over 20 years.

Broken or missing parts like bars & grates can be replaced from our own stock of original parts or repaired in house by our expert welders. It is quite common that old fire bricks crack and split, these can be re made specially to suit your fireplace. Dislodged tiles can be re-set and even replaced if broken or missing. Here at BSP we regularly sand blast metalwork and timber removing old layers of paint and debris. Some of metal items we regularly blast clean are classic car chassis and parts, vintage scooters, cast iron radiators, railings, fireplaces, cast iron cisterns, lamp posts, pillar boxes, motorcycle parts, and push bike frames. This is undertaken in our large capacity blasting unit (4.5m x 3m x3m) using a Chilled Iron media. We have dedicated equipment offering specialist finishes to clean delicate items which our regular blasting process may be to aggressive for.

We offer a full radiator restoration, resizing and repair service at our extensive workshops in Basildon, Essex. Dan and his professional team have the expertise and knowledge to build and take apart cast iron radiators making them longer or shorter if you so wish. This enables us to provide original reclaimed cast iron radiators exactly to your requirements. We don't offer powder coating at our workshops, as in our experience have found through the extreme heat process the radiators go through that it damages gaskets and can cause them to leak at a later date.
