Based in North Wales, Flintshire Fabrications Ltd specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium products. We fabricate a wide variety of products from recycling containers and fire escapes to security gates and railings. We supply throughout North Wales, the North West and the rest of the UK, to local authorities, architects, factories, processing plants, building contractors and private individuals. Flintshire Fabrications has earned a reputation throughout North Wales and the North West for skilled, bespoke steelwork whether it's the domestic, industrial or local authority work. At Kings Cross Station, London Flintshire Fabrications provided steel brackets and scaffolding for the restoration of the iconic glass roof. Within the Snowdonian National Park Flintshire Fabrications supplied the steelwork for the pedestrian foot bridges, improving access for walkers and tourists. Flintshire Fabrications manufactured and installed the steelwork at the new Interpretation Hub situated on the roman walls in the historic City of Chester.

Our design team will go through your design showing it in situ. All gates and railings are manufactured by highly skilled blacksmiths using traditional methods. All gates/railings can be galvanised, painted or powder coated in a wide range of colours to enhance the appearance of an area or property as well as providing security and demarcation.

We work closely with architects on structural steel projects and on wrought iron restoration projects. Our vast wealth of experience in both these areas enables us to offer advice and expertise on architectural steelwork. We invite all our clients in to our workshop for us to demonstrate the traditional forging techniques we use to restore damaged wrought iron work and also to create modern works. If you are looking for traditionally made, wrought iron gates, railings, fencing or a balcony for your home then we can supply them for you. All our products are bespoke and are hand crafted in our work shop using traditional forging techniques for your domestic steelwork. You are welcome to come and see the forging process and look at our catalogue of previous work before deciding on your own design. We will also come to your property to measure and provide you with a written quotation as part of our service.

We offer a whole range of products for schools, perimeter fencing, play area railings and ball court netting. All of which can be supplied in a range of colours and styles for an aesthetically pleasing solution to a security issue. We also manufacture and install bespoke items such as bin stores compounds, cycle stands, external notice boards and goal posts. Flintshire Fabrications is renowned for its restoration, conservation and care of historic objects such as gates, railings, canopies, church bells, weather veins, that have been severely damaged, actively corroded, are missing parts/elements or have been poorly restored previously. Our highly skilled team are experienced in both metal working techniques and traditional engineering materials such as cast and wrought iron. We offer a range of restoration services depending on the type and extent of the deterioration, from surveying and removal to cleaning and polishing.

Specialists in the design, manufacture and insulation of steel balconies and balustrades tailored to suit your individual requirements. Stainless steel balustrades use marine grade 316 stainless steel and can be top fixed or face fixed using fixing components matching the grade of steel. Glass infill panels are available in a variety of shades, clear or tinted. We use 10mm toughed glass and 11.5 mm laminated toughened glass depending on the style of balcony. Mild steel balustrades use BS EN s275 grade steel and can be galvanized, painted or powder coated in a variety of RAL colours.
