Finally- Trial pits on two different sites this week one a landmark eco house and the other a deep retrofit of a Category A listed building. It looks like things are moving forward again.albeit carefully!
One of our projects that has managed to creep forward in the lockdown, a deep retrofit of a house including an existing old first floor billiard room on Loch Long. Removing and rebuilding the roof completely has been helped by the very long dry spell we've had.
So sad to hear my tutor Mark Baines from the Glasgow School of Art has passed away. He was an amazing man and I was lucky to reconnect with him a few years ago on a joint project. He gave so much to society as a true Artist.but like many other Architects was totally undervalued for his.
