Hartwell Architects was established in 1989 by architects Stephen Ball & Alan Found. Since then we have gained a reputation for good design undertaken with integrity, honesty and transparency at every level. We are delighted to announce that Hartwell Architects have been incorporated into Hazle McCormack Young LLP (HMY) as of 1st June 2018. This acquisition draws on the complementary skillsets and professional qualifications of Hartwell Architects to strengthen our teams specialising in healthcare, residential and education projects.
Stephen co-founded the practice of Hartwell Architects in 1989. With its incorporation into HMY Stephen provides continuity to clients as a Senior Architect. Recently he has been directly involved with many of the social and educational projects covered on this web site, including Dartford West Campus, Walmer Science College, Eastchurch Primary School. Currently he is managing the architectural aspects of the regeneration of the Port of Dover. Alan co-founded the practice of Hartwell Architects in 1989.
