Blueprint are a leading firm in the Wrexham area of North Wales offering high quality architectural services. Our offices are based in Redwither Tower on Wrexham Industrial Estate so we are ideally situated to reach out to the greater communities of Cheshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Shropshire. Established in 2002 Blueprint can offer a wealth of experience in planning and construction. The growth of our business can be attributed to word of mouth recommendations promoting our outstanding reputation of service, knowledge and design.
Architectural drawings are detail orientated blueprints giving design, accurate measurements and technical notes. When Stuart started out in the architectural field in 1989 he was drawing long hand with pencil, ink and film. Now the task has been made quicker with the technological advancement of computers and drawing software packages. It has also dramatically reduced the number of paper cuts! Blueprint use CAD to produce clearly defined drawings. We take pride in everything we produce. Over the years many local builders have commented how easy a set of Blueprint plans are to follow and that the level of detail is exceptional, making things run smoothly on site.
Blueprint have had fortunate opportunities to be involved in some truly stunning building conversions over the years. These conversion projects have presented us with a diverse spectrum of buildings that have included Watermills, Banks, Shippons, Pubs and our timeless favourite Barns. This is an area of architectural expertise in which we thrive and excel at. Problematic buildings and difficult briefs can often inspire the most imaginative solutions. After all, the essence of converting is to retain the existing characteristics and individual features whilst injecting design aspects to complement and enhance the buildings new use.
While drawings are the immediate service associated with architectural practices, our expertise covers much more as part of our architectural services. Projects are much more than just drawings and you can rely on us for different levels of input. This includes keeping clients up to date with ever changing legislation, initiating feasibility studies and providing advice on new and redevelopment sites, and providing information on planning issues, costs, and timescales. This is all valuable and essential to assist developers with land purchases and private individuals with house and plot purchases.
Creating house extensions for existing properties is the most varied rewarding work we do here at Blueprint. The design of each property presents its own challenges and quirks, and every client that steps through our doors has personal unique requirements that we thrive on making reality. This is not a sector of work where one solution fits all. We take time to listen to make sure we fuse together creative ideas and deliver the perfect personal design, time after time. House extension design projects can be single storey, two storey or a combination of both.
Starting as basic shell, barns really do come to life with Blueprint, as we are barn conversion specialists. Taking the structure and constraints of the building and merging these with the wish lists of our clients, Blueprint has transformed many barns and the transformation is often nothing short of spectacular. The quirky and individual nature of a barn may appear, initially, to limit design. But they encourage and ignite the imagination as solutions and layouts need to overcome, enhance and harmonize with these anomalies.
