When it comes to Air Conditioning, Kimpton, who are Wirral based have a track record extending back for well over 50 years, The Kimpton team have developed a reputation for the quality HVAC installation and maintenance of all types of ventilation systems, throughout the North West and beyond. Air Conditioning installation is increasingly becoming a key component of any commercial or industrial buildings' infrastructure; here at Kimpton, we provide a full in-house service from initial concept through to full design, installation and after sales care of air con systems, both large and small.

We carried out our first low carbon technology project in the early '90s. We have decades of experience in the design, installation and maintenance of building services infrastructures. This range includes water, gas, heating, ventilation, plumbing, cooling and power. We now focus on renewable energy solutions, incorporating low energy, low carbon, micro generation and renewable energy technologies to minimise your building's carbon footprint. Kimpton specialises in the design and application of renewable heat pumps. Heating accounts for over half the energy used in the UK each year, with fossil fuels being the principal energy resource. Heat pumps use electricity as the energy source and are used for either the heating or cooling of the space by transferring heat between two different sources. When it is warm outside, the heat pumps can act like an air conditioner, and remove heat from the air inside the building and transfer it outside.

We have extensive knowledge and understanding of the construction sector and allied industries. We take an intelligent approach to the design and installation of a range of mechanical and electrical services. We were founded by Eric Kimpton in October 1963 as a heating and plumbing services company. With the development of Air Conditioning in the late 1960's E.A. Kimpton Ltd established our own Air Conditioning Division in 1970. The Kimpton philosophy has always been and will continue to be "gain a customer, keep the customer" and to maintain that working relationship "Queensway" was established in 1973 as our in-house Service and Maintenance Division. A belief that has delivered great success for Kimpton over the years to the extent that having installed systems over 20 years ago and maintained them ever since, we are today looking at replacing those systems with modern, energy efficient technology.

All of our Service Engineers are fully conversant with current legislation and approved codes of practice. On hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we can provide fast, effective diagnosis and remedy for any heating, cooling or ventilation problem with many of our customers enjoying a 4 hour response time. With over twenty four years' experience in the day to day running of the Service and Maintenance Department at Kimpton Colin has managed the team and overseen its steady growth. Prior to this appointment, he worked for six years as a Kimpton Service Engineer, which gave him an excellent insight and knowledge of customer requirements on the ground.

The business is split into a number of key divisions, each of which has their own specialist team behind it that runs and manages the projects within it. Flexibility is our key. Our flexibility comes from our independence and our structure. Whether you are looking to install a replacement boiler in your church or developing a multi-storey grade A office we have the solutions to suit your needs. The first and largest is the Contracts Division. The Contracts team work throughout the North West and the UK to provide a full mechanical services solution to major contractors.

It has always been the "Kimpton" ethos that once we have a customer we keep them, for life. It is this philosophy that has ensured our continued success throughout the decades. We have a wide-ranging and varied client portfolio, never focusing on one specific market sector and treating every customer equally irrespective of the size of their business. Our customer base is wide and varied, working with Property Developers, Architects and Building Services Consultants through to Main Contractors, Interior Fit-Out Contractors and direct with End Users.

If you have a commercial boiler breakdown or need an emergency repair, then call us immediately and we will aim to have an engineer with you on the same day, or first thing the next morning - even if you're not an existing customer. We will get you back up and running as soon as humanly possible. If you're a customer under contract with us, then we WILL be with you within four hours, 24/7, 365 days a year. No two systems or requirements are the ever the same, so, before we start we will survey your existing plant room(s) and produce an outline condition report and asset register.
