Cook Associates are a multi-disciplinary Practice embracing both Architecture; and Civil and Structural Engineering. This collaboration of diciplines allows us to deliver both creative and practical design solutions to our Clients.
Peter Cook (Dipl Arch RIBA) leads the Architectural Division. Previous work in Local Government as an Area Planning Officer and Conservation Advisor has been coupled with design flair and architectural experience. His experience of planning has been instrumental in enabling the Practice to achieve planning solutions that have been praised by Local Authority staff and been highly advantageous to the Client. Peter Cook is supported by Samuel Bowman and an experienced team of Architects and Architectural Assistants working on projects up to 23 million in value.
Cook Associates act as Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers for a broad spectrum of Clients throughout the residential, commercial, leisure, healthcare, hotels and licensed property sectors. The size of the projects handled by the Engineering Division varies from small works up to construction value of circa 15 million. Whilst much of this work is carried out in collaboration with Cook Associates' Architects, a good proportion of the work is carried out where the client has appointed other Architects and Designers.
