The Brief: A local builder needed three new windows for an extension he was building onto the side of a house. The windows had to be sliding sash so that they would match the windows in the original part of the house. The Solution: We arranged a meeting on site with the builder and home owner. All of the requirements. The Brief: The windows Ms Roberts had in her converted flat in a beautiful period property were rotten, letting in a draft and causing damp. As the flat is in a conservation area she needed to re create them like for like.
The Brief: Mr Scott approached us with a basic drawing and some ideas of what he wanted for his dream kitchen. He had been previously unsuccessful in finding someone who was willing to make his kitchen. We had a chat and I raised a few questions for Mr Scott to go and consider. Once all questions were answered to both. The Brief: A local builder was extending and refurbishing his home. The original house has some decorative barge boards that he wanted to replicate on the extension. The Solution: A site survey was undertaken where the original barge board was carefully measured and a template was taken of the design.
Eddie has done such a marvelous job with our staircase spindles, railings and banisters that I have already recommended him to friends and colleagues. His workmanship is of the highest standard I have seen for a long time. He charged us 4 times less than what we would have to pay for a similar job to one of the big companies and he has been extremely reliable, courteous and friendly at all times. I would definitely recommend his work to anyone! I am absolutely delighted with the work that Eddie has done in my house - one oak staircase and one mdf staircase with oak banisters.
The window is a defining feature in any house and getting it wrong can seriously affect the outside appearance, whilst getting it right can really add that wow factor to your home. At EM Joinery we understand how important it is to get the right look which is why we encourage you to take your time during the design process and make sure that together we design something that is absolutely perfect. The result is a window that not only fits in with your practical needs but also delivers that touch of class that sets your home apart from others.
A good staircase is a true measure of a joiners skill. At EM joinery services we love a challenge, each stair case is unique and is designed to the individual needs and budget of the client. Every staircase is crafted by hand using traditional methods. We can design, manufacture and install all types of staircases including, modern, classic, straight or curved. Eddie has done such a marvelous job with our staircase spindles, railings and banisters that I have already recommended him to friends and colleagues.
The Brief: Mr & Mrs Fitzgerald were previous customers, and when they needed a pair of doors and frame for the impressive extension they were building they asked could we help. The Solution: A site survey was arranged where a few ideas were discussed. Mrs Fitzgerald did not like the idea of the traditional locking system a night latch and. The Brief: Our client was renovating a property and the house had a pair of poorly manufactured and badly fitting front doors. The doors were very unsightly and were not in keeping with the contemporary look that our client was trying to achieve.
