W. G Edwards Surveyors Ltd., was incorporated in 1999 by ex-partners of W. G. Edwards & Partners, a general practice partnership formed in 1947. The directors are Chartered Building and Quantity Surveyors respectively and between them have over 80 years of professional experience in all aspects of construction. Our professional staff are all members of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. We have offices in Essex and Hampshire which give us the scope to work in London and much of southern England.
Our surveyors have many years' experience in the assessment of commercial buildings, having worked for a large number of London's largest property investor clients. These instructions may be for institutional investors wishing to add a property to their portfolio, for purchasers of a freehold interest, or for potential tenants proposing to take a new lease on a full repairing basis. Apart from a detailed site inspection, the work involves a study of construction drawings where available, investigations into the history of the site, and appointment and supervision of professional engineers to report on services.
