From design and applying for planning permission, through to managing intricate build details, we consider every detail of each loft conversion. We pride ourselves on optimising space in order to achieve a stunning, natural and organic addition to your home. If you're considering having your loft converted, do browse our site and get in touch. You'll find plenty of useful information on our FAQs page, and maybe even some inspiration in our gallery, which shows just some of our completed projects.
AWC Loft Conversions is run by Adrian "Ady" Walker, who is a fully qualified carpenter with over 20 years' experience in the building trade. Ady manages a specialist team, and all members are experienced and qualified in their respective fields (as well as being Gas Safe and NICEIC registered). We enjoy forging personal-yet-professional working relationships with our clients, and a vast amount of our work is obtained through referrals. Our expert team provides a full service, from a free initial site visit and survey - during which advice on all options is given - to the drawing up of architectural designs, planning applications, negotiations with local authority planning departments and final building inspection and completion certificate.
Perhaps you're happy with your home - or don't want to commit to the upheaval of moving, given the current housing market - but your living area has become cramped, or you're looking to grow your family. Either way, it's time to consider a loft conversion: one of the cheapest, easiest and most efficient ways of adding value and space. Well, space that's actually already there, beneath your roof! Think extra bedrooms, an en-suite bathroom, a playroom, a gym or a study - the possibilities are endless.
I had two wardrobes fitted and three new windows installed and found the work to the highest standard and would thoroughly recommend AW Carpentry and Loft Conversions Ltd.
