Our team has expanded. Together, Brian Marsh and Phil Parr will help get you started and develop your design aspirations. Our enhanced service is available with immediate effect. Driven by technical excellence, we take pride in our reputation for budget conscious and innovative architectural design. From planning and building regulation applications to production of construction information we strive to achieve a pragmatic, open and supportive architectural design service. We wanted a Sheffield architect, who knew our area and community - Andromeda Architecture came strongly recommended.

Andromeda Architecture was founded by Brian Marsh in early 2000, with an ambition to offer design driven architect services, combined with technical excellence and high standards of customer care. Phil Parr, was previously International Design Manager for a major building contractor, in the UK, before joining us. We pride ourselves in smaller residential or commercial architect projects, within budgets that deliver innovative and traditional design excellence. Graduated from Sheffield Polytechnic, in the 1970's, before embarking upon a wide-ranging architectural career, in the UK and internationally.

The redevelopment now provides 18 one bedroom, two bedroom and studio apartments to meet current residential expectations and standards of construction. A former industrial site at Kelham Island in central Sheffield, previous development on this site ranges from circa 1825 to circa 1950 with some of the 19th century buildings, including a crucible steel furnaces remaining. Our redevelopment scheme includes conversion of the older listed buildings into residential use and demolition of the circa 1950 buildings to make way for up to five storeys of new build which includes commercial space at ground floor level with apartments ranging from single bedroom to four bedroom 'penthouse' types over.

This extension and basement conversion to a formerly bland 1960's bungalow on a superb site in the Peak District National Park provides extensive additional residential accommodation which also has potential to be a self contained 'granny flat' or guest suite if required. Additionally a roof terrace adjoining the main living space takes advantage of superb views over the Hope Valley. We feel that, in addition the extra accommodation provided the appearance of the building is greatly enhance by this scheme.
