At IHC (Independent Heating & Cooling) we specialise in the installation of natural gas, LGP, Oil and Biomass boilers utilising our fully qualified and competent employees. We will survey your premises free of charge to establish the best solution for your particular premises, working with all leading manufacturers we are able to offer the best product for you. We believe in preventative maintenance and offer a complete service package to keep your equipment fully maintained and in optimum condition. Servicing of air conditioning units is extremely important to maintain efficiencies of the units, and ensure their longevity. Most manufacturers offer 5 years warranty subject to regular maintenance, which we pass directly on to yourselves when we install a new system. The running costs of air conditioning are often hidden in your electricity bill, when in good condition the co-efficient of power, on new units, is approximately 5 i.e.

We have a dedicated service and maintenance division at Independent Heating and Cooling (IHC), it is our aim to keep your systems fully maintained and in optimum condition to help avoid breakdowns at those crucial times where your heating systems are critical. All of our engineers hold commercial Gas Safe and OFTEC qualifications, which under current legislation is strictly necessary to be able to carry out any works on gas or oil fired appliances. We regularly maintain and service gas, LPG, and oil fired warm air heaters, boilers, radiant tubes and biomass boilers.

Shops; offices; factories; transport sheds; distribution centres; hospitals; schools; hotels and restaurants - in fact, all types of commercial or industrial premises. Air conditioning systems provide heating and cooling for all year round comfort, keeping a constant temperature and reducing humidity. In some cases, maintaining an optimum operation temperature is vital to our clients. During design consultation our Technical Engineers carry out a full site survey (free of charge) to produce a quotation with AutoCAD drawings and heat loss/gain calculations; to ensure we are offering the right solution for you.

If you have multiple occupancy spaces particularly if using air conditioning, and are concerned about the health and wellbeing of your staff, air purification is part of the answer. By purifying the air you will reduce the potential risk of distributing contaminated air droplets towards other people in the same area. Our range utilises 8 different technologies to provide you with clean air, free of nanoparticles and allergens. It includes 5 different filtration levels, including a certified high performance H13 filter, this means that it filters at least 99.97% of particles with a size of 0.01 microns.

Our nominated Health and Safety Director holds IOSH qualifications in Health and Safety. In order to ensure we maintain a robust health and safety culture, we also employ an independent health and safety consultant. They are responsible for continuously monitoring and updating our policies, risk assessments and systems of work as well as undertaking inspections, training and assessing the performance of our staff and sub-contractors. All Independent Heating & Cooling staff receive full and comprehensive training in all necessary areas of health and safety to ensure the safest possible working environment for staff and customers.
