So there is a growing need to replace lead with a product which looks very similar to lead and has got approximately the same life as lead, but with no scrap value. We would renew box gutters or areas of flat or sloped roof sections with batten roles, or without, to match in the best we can to the original look of the roof with the Firestone or Carlisle EPDM system. For flashings etc. we would use Redland Flashings, which can be dressed into the shape of your roof and this again has no scrap value.

The system we use for all of our flat roofing installations is weather resistant, flexible and has a life expectancy of 50 years. The Rubber Roofing System is one of the toughest materials known for resistance to weather wind and sun. This is the most common method of non-destructive testing on flat roofs systems. This technique of roof leak detection works on the principal that the structural roof deck is an electrical conductor and the waterproofing membrane is an electrical insulator. By moving the Electronic Leak Detection equipment over the test area and experience technician can pinpoint areas of entrapped water/moisture, pinholes in the material and damaged/defective welded laps. Any defective areas discovered during our survey are marked on the roof area and can also be marked on a roof plan if available.

Bitumen has been used as a flat roof covering since the time of the Romans. There is a reason for this, when installed properly bitumen is completely water tight, flexible and very long lasting. We undertake traditional pour and roll application. Lightweight, strong and durable, GRP roofing systems can take foot traffic and accommodate any movement that naturally occurs in buildings. Our Roofing Systems comprise a range of polyester reinforced, SBS modified membranes, insulation boards and vapour control layers which are applied using either Torch Applied or Pour & Roll techniques.
