Action Pest Control Limited was established in 1994 and we are still a family run business. Owners Keith and Avril Prowse are very proud of their hands on involvement in the running of the business. Keith has been involved in pest control since 1986 and has a reputation in the industry as someone who knows his stuff! We have been full members of the British Pest Control Association since 1999. Well the definition I was given when I started in Pest Control in 1986 was "an organism that is detrimental to man or his environment". A fly on a pig farm is not reallymuch of a threat to humans (unless in vast numbers). However that same fly doing backstoke in your soup is much more of a direct threat to your health! It is very important for us as pest control professionals that we assess the problem and deal with it accordingly and with minimal environmental impact. A good example of this is treating wild bees, for some people the presence of bees is a very frightening experience and all they want is for the bees to die.

There are basically 3 types of screens for windows. These are roller screens, sliding screens and hinged screens - the type you want will depend on a variety of different criteria. For doorways you can have a roller type or a secondary fly screen frame door fitted-these can even be fitted on fire exits! We offer free advice and surveys (local to us) so please call us and see what we can do to keep the flies out! We are now approved installers for Phantom retractable fly screens, these are amazing screens that once fitted are difficult to see!
