AJS Landscapes is a small family run business established in 1984 and is still owned and run by its founder Andy Stuffins. We work mainly within a 30 mile radius of Peterborough, covering North Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire and parts of Northamptonshire. All of our patios are constructed to the highest of standards. We take extreme care and pride with all stages, beginning with the careful excavation of the required area ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area. Once the excavation has been completed we lay a Terram membrane to stabilise & prevent weed growth. A consolidated sub-base of Type One crushed concrete or granite then covers the membrane. While laying the paving, manufacturer's guidelines are adhered to and this will affect whether we use a mortar bed or a wet coarse sand & cement screed.

Working in conjunction with you and the ideas that you have, we can design and build pergolas, loggias, gazebos and arches or any other garden structure of your choice. Each garden structure will be unique and carefully erected to enhance your garden. Pre-made structures that you may already have purchased can also be assembled.

The area is excavated and a Terram membrane is laid, the base is consolidated with MOT Type One. A minimal layer of 6mm grano dust is compacted and levelled, followed by a weed proof membrane. The perimeter can either be steel edging or pegged with tantalised stakes and timbers. You can use your artificial lawn as an extension of your patio. If you find indentations from legs of patio furniture, hit the area with the back of a spade or shovel which will disperse the layer of grano dust underneath and even the lawn out again.

Working in conjunction with a fully qualified electrician you can have the latest lighting features installed in your garden and pond to enhance the night time experience.
