As ever, the starting point when choosing your kitchen appliances is to consider which you want, the space you have available, the look you want to create, and how much you want to spend. Budget will narrow down the mind-boggling options initially; then you need to think about the look and space and of course the essential appliances you need in your new kitchen - oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave? Does your washing machine and dryer need to be in your kitchen or is there a utility room where it would work better?
German kitchens are popular with clients often citing their sleek, minimalist look, clever space saving design and the perception of German engineering. If you have photographs, videos or drawings of your kitchen you can upload them from your computer here.
So, it goes without saying, that choosing the right surface is critically important. Compromising on a new floor is a completely false economy and one we would strongly advise you avoid. The options are extensive including natural stone, tiles, wood, concrete, porcelain, Amtico, Karndean, linoleum - and there are wide variations within each of those options too. So, choosing the one that fits the bill can prove challenging. That is why we work closely with locally based trusted flooring professionals who can dip into their years of experience to offer the most practical and honest advice.
Natural Wood kitchens bring a classic feel to a room whilst adding an element of functionality and natural durability. Any new kitchen will almost certainly require electrics, plumbing, carpentry, tiling, flooring, worktop templating and fitting and decoration to name but a few of the trades required. Using Nicholas Hythe's design and installation service means all those trades involved in your project are managed for you from start to finish. What makes us different is that we're specialists in managing the whole kitchen project, not just the installation. This includes any building works, chronological scheduling of all contractors (particularly important in order to maintain social distancing) right through to worktop templating and fitting.
At Nicholas Hythe we remove all the waste from site so you don't have to worry about making trips to the tip or arrange collection. Our contractors, Woodford Recycling, have to comply with modern legislation and regulations but we actively encourage them to sort old kitchens to determine what can be recycled and what cannot. We also ask them to confirm a minimum 80 per cent of the total waste collected is reused or recycled so you can be assured that your old kitchen is being used imaginatively to help others.
Which is why ours spend time listening to ensure they truly understand how you want to live and use it in it in the future. Only then will we design some options using the latest CAD software - similar to that which you'll have seen on TV - to create a truly spectacular set of renderings showing what it would look like. Our process begins with an initial showroom visit or video conference call to listen and understand how the client wants to use it in the future. The biggest demand in new kitchens is for their space - however large or small - to be optimised whilst still maintaining an eye-catching look with practical qualities and ease of cleaning.
Why choose Nicholas Hythe? It's a question we regularly revisit to ensure we're meeting clients' needs and expectations. And, in a nutshell, it's because we do what most of our competitors don't; that is the creative design and end to end, fully managed installation service. Every kitchen we design and install has to meet each client's aspirations, lifestyle and budget. 2. Our infinite range of high quality kitchens and are designed to create the individually personalised room that matches your imagination, lifestyle, aspirations and budget.
Our starting point is listening to how customers want to use their new kitchen so we can design lighting options for their consideration. Lighting must obviously be practical but it also has the ability to create the ambience of the living space. Our designers place huge emphasis on the importance of kitchen lighting. Task lighting helps ensure safe working and tends to be focused under wall cabinets where you are preparing food with knives; whilst ambient lighting helps create a softer, more relaxed feel by softening hard edges and removing shadows.
