As well as being in vogue, glass splashbacks are elegant, easy to clean and maintain and extremely durable. Every splashback can be manufactured to your exact size and specification using the latest CNC technology, including cut outs for sockets and shelves and our toughening process strengthens the glass by up to 5 times, whilst offering complete safety. With colours to suit all tastes, lifestyles and living spaces glass is the perfect way to give your kitchen the added ‘WOW' factor. We only use low iron Opticlear glass which has a minimal green tint to keep our colours bold and consistent.

The Granite House works closely with a number of high quality ceramic manufacturers; we are proud to say that we are a Silver Rated Dekton Fabricator, and Approved Ceralsio Fabricator. All of these manufacturers provide a minimum 10 year warranty. Ceramic is unaffected by the passage of time. With many benefits including a strong resistance to wear and tear, scratch and heat, ceramic is a very hard material, suitable for kitchen and bathroom countertops, flooring and wall-cladding. Its colour and texture remain unchanged even when used outdoors, since it can withstand the effects of ultra-violet rays without its surface appearance being altered in any way.

Marble is a natural stone that is formed when limestone is subjected to the heat and pressure of metamorphism. It is much softer and porous than Granite or Quartz and therefore is not the best choice for kitchen worktops. However, in bathrooms, vanity areas and even for small table tops Marble is perfect. Like Granite, every slab of Marble is different so we encourage our customers to visit one of the stone importers we work with to have a look first hand so that they can choose which colour will work best for their project.

The phrase "hard as a rock" may well have been created with Granite in mind; formed over millions of years from compressed molten rock under the Earth's surface, Granite is one of the hardest and most durable natural substances known to man. It has heat-resistant qualities and is also unlikely to scratch or chip. When used for kitchen worktops, it is far superior to synthetic, laminate or wood. It is also much more beautiful and has a luminous, three dimensional quality when polished. All of our worktops are cut on a bespoke basis from whole granite slabs, which can range in size from 2m2 to 6m2.
