Here at Wholetree tree surgery we are driven by our love of trees and respect for our natural environment. We are dedicated to high quality, professional tree care, tailored to the needs of the client, the trees and the site. Tree surgery is a specialised and dangerous occupation; we are fully experienced, qualified, equipped and insured to carry out such work, without risk to you or your property. Richard and team are very friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. They did a execellent job cutting back our very large overgrown tree in a confined space which blocked sun for us and neigbours.
We are still able to operate our tree surgery business in the north-east area. The Arboricultural Association confirmed last week that we are able to comply with guidelines. We are able to manage this by maintaining social distancing, particularly with any vulnerable clients, and regular hand washing. We ask that you respect our need to. Beautiful Cedars growing next to an old church in France - an example of buildings happily co-existing with large trees! I also appreciated the large pollards in the cities, didn't get to photograph any unfortunately, we should use this technique more in this country, it has been out of fashion now for many years and.
Tree stumps can be physically removed at any time. Paying tree surgeons to remove stumps when they are felling the tree is the most convenient way to remove stumps. Chemical stump killers need to be applied to freshly cut wood, so are best applied immediately after felling. Otherwise, they will need to be re-cut before the product is applied. To facilitate quicker stump removal we can use a winch depending on the size of the stump, or we use stump grinders which mechanically grind down the main root leaving just sawdust.
When it comes t o tree and shrub planting, knowing what to plant and how and where to plant it can make all of the difference. We can source and plant all species of trees in accordance with BS3998 and BS 4043. Our certified arborists whether it be small domestic planting or larger plantations, work with clients to plant tree species that thrive in the landscape, factoring in local climate, soil conditions and short and long-term property goals.
Efficient and professional, did the job perfectly and left the area clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
Glad to get this one down, a brittle overgrown Eucaplytus: extending out over nursery school and slowly pushing an old wall over; inch perfect felling avoiding the wall and footpath. No drama, a cool head and nearly 40 years of experience underpinning the decision making. We prefer not to remove.
Milling with a view in Northumberland. When trees need to come down it's nice to be able to re-use the timber; here the client has some projects planned for these slices of Liriondendron tulipifera a (Tulip tree)
Covid-19 update: We are still able to operate, the Arboriculture Association confirmed last week that we are able to comply with guidelines by maintaining social distancing, particularly with any vulnerable clients, and regular hand washing. The streets are much quieter which is very useful for some.
This is an important initiative to support
