CHS Services (Electricians of Distinction) are Leighton Buzzards longest established electrical contractors-formed by my Father Anthony in 1961 it is now run by me-Matthew Barnett-Vincent. We work with residential, commercial and agricultural clients from our main office in Leighton Buzzard and satellite office in Dunton-Buckinghamshire. Hello folks, did you know that all properties need to have their electrical installations tested? most people are aware that rental properties do, but even your own home should be inspected and tested at least every 10 years.
This week sees me updating the electrics in another grand old house, these jobs are so interesting, you can feel the history of a bygone age. Some of the wiring was installed between the World Wars and when tested it was as good as the day it was put in! With these listed buildings great care needs.
A late one tonight sorting out a fault with this customers immersion heater. A much needed brew while I have a think!
