Based in Bedfordshire, we cover a wide area including Herts, Beds & Bucks and we even travel nationwide for some of our customers. We are certified with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors as both a Domestic Installer and an Approved Contractor and all of our work is covered by the NICEIC guarantee so you can have complete confidence in the quality of our work.
With most jobs we'll first arrange a visit to provide a free quote for the work. This won't cost you a penny and will enable us to estimate how long the work will take and give you an accurate price up front. For smaller jobs such as putting up a light fitting or changing lamps, a quote is not normally necessary. These jobs typically don't take much time and labour costs are charged as per our normal rates, which you can find listed below. I recently had some work done in my home by AEC.
Because of the work involved, I initially had a consultation with one of their engineers. This was swiftly followed by a competitive quotation that I duly accepted.
Despite my job being relatively small compared with larger contracts they deal with, I was still treated with priority and care.
I was asked what date suited me for the work to be carried out and AEC worked around my schedule.
The work was completed on time and in full by a very polite and courteous young man. He cleaned up after himself and was very keen to ensure I was happy with the results.
I am not a habitual reviewer, but the fantastic level of service left me compelled to write this review. I would have no problem recommending AEC to any of my friends and family.
