We are experts in the field and have a strong passion for natural stone flooring, you just need to come into our showroom to see our love for it. Ensuring every piece of stone that leaves our workshop, leaves in the best manner possible. No matter your project we are the right people to help guide you through it! Our natural materials are available in an array of different shapes and sizes. We stock a number of natural stones, including Slate, Limestone, Sandstone, Travertine and Marble. Because of their natural origins, each tile will display individual markings and colouring.
Workshops are run from Lucy's 18th Century colourful studio and renovated home in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Located in the pretty village of Turnditch, 10 minutes from Belper, Ashbourne and Wirksworth and only 15 minutes from Derby. A typical full day workshop is a real retreat, in the idyllic setting of the studio, beautiful garden with a seasonal Bell tent and log fire, overlooking fields, where your'll soak up inspiration, positivity, and colour. Your'll revive, design and make, meet like minded people and enjoy delicious seasonal vegetarian food with plenty of sweet treats, with the chance to relax at lunch time, have a walk or swing in a hammock and go home feeling fully restored, as well as having some wonderful finished projects, inspiration and new found confidence!
Our workshop is based just outside of Hope in the heart of the Hope Valley. We have expert, skilled cabinet makers who have been crafting furniture for over 28 years. We only use the best materials including Redwood Pine, Quebec Yellow Pine, Radiater Pine, American Oak, European Oak, Pippy Oak, American Walnut, Beech, Steamed Beech and Cherry. All of our furniture drawers are made using Dovetailed joints and solid bases which gives the furniture strength and character. Our workshop is designed to make the classic, standard sized pieces of furniture but these can also be made to sizes you require.
We have a fully equipped workshop to troubleshoot and fix virtually any IT related problem. Contract and non-contract clients alike are welcome to drop equipment off for repair. In most cases, where major troubleshooting is not required, there is a no fix no fee policy.
