Power flushing is a process using chemicals and flushing machinery to remove the sludge from your heating system to increase its efficiency and lifespan. The build-up of sludge in hot water central heating systems is inevitable, no matter what fuel source you use. Over time, this sludge can block pipes and prevent the radiators from distributing heat around your home.

All new boilers will be condensing boilers, whether they are combination ( combi ) boilers or traditional boilers. Your central heating system may also be powerflushed or chemical fpushed to clean away any sludge that exists in the system. Also fitted will be a magnetic filter such as a Magnaclean, this will continually filter the water in your central heating system which means, more efficiency, less wear and tear on your system, it also helps reduce sludge build up in your radiators and pipework.
