When you arrive at the garden centre you will find the entrance has an easy to understand queuing area with social distancing measures. This will allow staff to closely monitor the number of customers in the Garden centre. We are limiting the number of customers in the garden centre at any one time and will be operating a one in one out policy. Although it may be difficult, we kindly ask customers not to browse, simply select your goods and make your way to the till and exit.

In June 1997, Tony Sansum and Sue Aitken took over Thornbury Garden Shop, situated in an unusual and historic courtyard, just off the High Street in the bustling market town in South Gloucestershire. Since then, the business has expanded to fill every available inch of space with plants, garden sundries, and pet supplies. Nowadays, any of the plants we sell are grown in-house, and the rest are either hand-picked or purchased from reliable local nurseries. If we don't have what you're looking for, we'll happily order it in for you.
Our garden centre shop is a barn and stable that is well over 250 years old! It is full of character and has a very unique atmosphere. Outside in the large plant area we have an exceptional range of plants maintained to a very high standard. We offer everything you need for your garden whatever the size. We stock and grow trees, shrubs, climbers, grasses, bamboo, herbaceous perennials, ferns, bulbs, fruit plants and vegetable plants and seasonal bedding plants. We also use and stock our very own multi-purpose compost.
With in our Garden shop you will be able to find everything you need for your garden from seeds, gardening tools, weedkiller, solar lights and much more. The staff in this department are very knowledgable and are always more than happy to help with gardening tips and advice.
