Insurance Trace And Access
In most instances, our leak detection service can be fully reimbursed under your building insurance as part of a ‘Trace and Access’ (also known as ‘Track and Trace’) claim. ‘Trace and Access’ covers the costs associated with locating (trace) and reaching (access) the leak, which may include removing floor finishes and excavating concrete floors. Most insurance policies provide £5,000.00 in ‘Trace and Access’ or ‘track and trace’ coverage. We supply a comprehensive written report with photographs and a detailed invoice within 48 hours of our visit to facilitate your insurance claim. To check if you have ‘Trace and Access’ coverage, review the ‘Escape of Water’ section of your insurance policy.
Mains Water Leaks

Moe came round after downstairs found a leak while we were having some work done upstairs.
He was able to quickly get up to speed with the issue and came up with a solution. After testing a few things he found the issue and was very knowledgeable about how and why it had happened and took the time to describe it all to me as someone who knows nothing about plumbing.
He gave great extra advice and checked in afterwards to make sure the issue was fixed.

I used the guys at Specialist Leak Detection, I would like to say that from start to finish I have no reservation in recommending this Company. From the initial contact and booking the home visit, it went very smoothly, the engineer Moe arrived on time, introduced himself and explained what he would be doing at during every step. Moe located the water meter and ascertained there was not any leak between the meter and the mains cold water isolating valve under the kitchen sink. Moe ran a pressure test on the mains cold water Eventually finding a small drip on the water feed to the toilet cistern. I would not hesitate to use this company again.

Moe attended my property at short notice today following an overnight burst pipe, his approach was no drama, we can sort this out and he very calmly and efficiently dealt with the problem. From start to end he was friendly, very professional, understanding, and courteous, he reassured us throughout explaining what he needed to do and how to do it. My wife attempted to clean up, but he insisted it was his job. Thank you for your prompt response to, what for us was, a disaster.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone else needing a plumber urgently or not.

Leak Detection 24/7 provided me with a quick responce when I became aware of the unmistakable sound of a leaking underground water main on my property. Moe attended the property to investigate, providing a clear report to me on the situation and the options for remedy. In order to avoid the destruction of mature hedging and disruption to a shared driveway necessary to locate and effect repairs to the existing and aging services, I decided to have a new water main run in. The company provided me with a clear estimate and time frame for the work. They sent in a great team to mole in the new main for me. They were very obliging, neat and tidy in setting about their work, and efficient. I have a new, sound and silent water main. I would recommend the companies services.

We experienced a leak late at night and called around with little luck. However, Mo was right on it. Transparent in his dealings with us and very professional.
The complex issue was solved within 2 hours and the paperwork promptly completed.

Moe was recommended to us by a local plumber as a leak detection specialist. He didn't dissapoint. He detected an underfloor central heating leak within a short space of time using equipment not common to most plumbers. Moe offers excellent customer service and is very responsive to further queries. Detailed report sent within two days. Would recommend and use again.

Absolutely amazing customer service provided by Moe. We were experiencing a leak of our cold water supply and we called Moe to investigate the issue, he found the leak and fixed it all within 1 visit. I could not recommend Moe enough I have called many large companies before I called Moe and he re assured me not to worry and he will resolve the issue.

Mo was fantastic- super friendly guy first of all but also solved a mystery that we have struggled with for 4 months. We noticed our boiler kept losing pressure very slowly every two weeks or so after having our bathroom redone and a new radiator put in. Plumber that did the work and British Gas couldnt figure out the issue. Mo used thermal and moisture readings to find a small patch down in our lounge where the same pipes connected upstairs to the bathroom. Turns out when the property was originally built over ten years ago, a nail from the skirting had gone in to a pipe and recent work we had done had caused movement starting the leak very slowly. Mystery solved- thank you Mo! Total legend!
