Hi I’m Barry, I started Handy On The Hill in Muswell Hill N10 in 2012, with the sole aim of providing an affordable professional property maintenance and handyman service to residential home owners and landlords, the business was really well received by my customers in North London, I soon had a steady client base of wonderful customers with regular repeat work requests for household fixes and small creative projects. Barry recently came round to replace a panel on our back door and change the lock and handle. We're really happy with the finish, it looks great and he even went to source the materials for us once he knew what was needed, will definitely be using him again and would recommend him to everyone else!

Barry is just great. I’ve used him for over ten years. He’s fixed fitted kitchen doors coming off their hinges, put up shelves, painted inside and out and fitted bathroom cabinets with lights. He can turn his hand to anything and is always helpful and polite and tidies up after himself. I can’t recommend him highly enough, but he does get busy so book him up with some notice.

Not only is Barry multi-talented, he is also a lovely person. He has refurbished my bathroom, decorated my flat, and fixed a list of jobs to the highest standard. He cares about the finish as much as I do and the work he has completed couldn't be better. I would highly recommend Barry.

Had a long list of jobs around the house for Barry to have a look at. Nothing fazed him - electrical, plumbing, carpentry, tiling as well as offering practical roofing solutions. A 5 star service and he whizzed through everything so quickly. Very highly recommend!

Barry did a great job. He was quick, efficient and reasonably priced - even though he had to make two trips. The first to look at a broken blind, and the second after he'd bought a replacement to fit it. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

There are many bad stories about dodgy builders, repairmen and handy men, but when you come across this gentleman who is polite, punctual and more than capable of the job at hand then you have found a keeper! There is no need for me to trawl through google searches any more. I have had Barry aka Handy on the Hill into my property a number of times.
He is totally trustworthy, clean and tidy and above all he gets the job done right the first time. No fuss or confusion and definitely no mess left behind. If only similar trades men were cut from the same cloth. I'd have him in again at the drop of a hat, but he has fixed everything! 5 Stars!

Barry has done loads of jobs for me, including boxing in pipes and tiling in my toilet, changing light fittings, painting/re-jigging my wardrobe, and fixing all manner of things around my house. So far I haven't found anything that he can't do! I've recommended him to loads of people, even my mum who is a very hard lady to please; he fixed the botch job of another handyman for her and she was delighted. Barry always turns up when he says he will, on time and with a smile on his face, plus his work is always of a really high standard. I will continue to call on him for all my odd-job needs well into the future (sorry Barry, you haven't gotten rid of me yet!).

Handy on the Hill does all of our DIY because we are completely incompetent and he is a total whizz. Barry has done everything from fit our washing machine, put up curtain poles to varnishing our wooden worktop - basically everything that keeps our house functioning. I'm not sure what we'd do without him!
