The renovation of our kitchen / dining area felt so overwhelming when we first started to think about doing it. We knew the space had lots of potential and wanted someone who'd have the vision to make the space into something really special. It was more than just installing a new kitchen, we knew the whole space needed taking back to brick and starting again & required a window to be blocked up.
We really wanted someone to handle every aspect of the job for us but didn't know where to start! Cheshire Kitchens and Joinery were very highly recommended on social media, as soon as I contacted CKJ Luke responded immediately to us & organised a date to come out and see us. As soon as Luke came out he understood our vision & gave us ideas that we hadn't even thought about.
He also understood our budget which was important for us. Luke drew up some initial drawings and we absolutely loved them, a special mention must go to Gill who liaised with us via email throughout the whole process. Gill would always answer any questions we had super quickly & was always available. She is such an incredible asset to CKJ. We had to scale back some of the initial ideas we had and Luke and the team were extremely understanding and helpful.
The team of lads who worked on our project were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much hassle for them and they were extremely respectful of us & the rest of our house. Even when an unexpected issue arose with steal & our living room wall had to be cut into the guys made it as painless as possible, even when dealing with a hormonal pregnant lady!
The lads communicated what was happening with us each day & consulted us as things moved along. They were extremely understanding when we suffered a leak elsewhere in the house which delayed their work. All the lads worked tremendously hard, Alex & Jos were our main contacts day to day, you couldn't ask for more dedicated lads who clearly take so much pride in their work.
From the electrician's to plumbers everyone was so incredibly friendly & helpful, even when we made changes at the last minute! Luke ensured the job was kept on track at all times, liaising with all the different tradespeople & dealing with any issues that came up. Once the kitchen was completed Luke told us to take our time to go round & let him know of any snags.
The team have been back to fix a few minor things for us & no snag has been too small for them. They really do want everything to be perfect for their customers. Luke has gone above and beyond for us since our kitchen has been completed and I think that speaks wonders for what a fantastic company he runs. We cannot recommend CKJ highly enough, there is honestly no one better out there. We both feel sad that we won't get to see Luke & the team again!

We moved to Grappenhall from South Manchester 18 months ago. Due to a house sale falling through ended up buying a house with “potential”. We were looking to turn a small kitchen, living room and dated large conservatory into a modern open plan living space. Having shopped around we went with Luke and the CJK team because they offered a full project managed build and kitchen together which was competitive and the team came with great reviews. The hardest part for us was imagining how we would fit all our needs and wishes into such a small space and the team were great at walking us through it with CAD drawings and advise. For example we didn’t think we had the space for a kitchen island but they suggested it and the pictures speak for themselves. The build started in February and finished almost on time in early May, far exceeding expectations. At all times we lived in the house and the whole team were diligent to our needs and also to the neighbours. Aside from the main building team headed by the always reliable Jay and Josh, the subcontractors Guy (plumbing) and Martin and Danny (electrics) were equally reliable, forward thinking and efficient. When the time came for the kitchen, Alex and his apprentice alex took their time with what looked like the most precise part of the project.
Advise for anyone considering this. Work on a budget of about 25% more than you think you will need. For us extra foundations, roofing and plastering costs were needed, and there is always things you don’t think of in the initial phase as well as extra luxuries you thought you didn’t want but then decided you might as well go all in!
So basically, if you are after a project managed relatively hassle free experience then we highly recommend looking out for Luke and the team at CJK

I can't recommend Cheshire Joinery & Kitchens highly enough. We spent ages researching companies and planning the look we wanted. Luke’s company came highly recommended and stood out above the rest to us and he understood exactly what we wanted and came up with a really unique design. Through discussions we adapted the final design a couple of times, and it genuinely was exactly what we had imagined - traditional with a modern touch. The attention to detail, the quality of their workmanship, their patience with my questions from planning to completion were exemplary. I also think the fact they leave everywhere spotlessly clean every day can’t go unmentioned. Thank you for making our dream kitchen a reality !

For some time now I realised my home was no longer working for me and I wasn’t making best use of the space I had. I even contemplated moving house to solve my issue.
Then, in came Luke with new perspective and innovative ideas on how I could have exactly what I wanted by staying put.
He and his team were absolutely amazing and I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel a home.
Their workmanship was second to none and they were friendly, considerate, polite and worked tirelessly to get everything done for me before Christmas – nothing was too much trouble!
The end result… I’m so thrilled with the outcome – it’s exceeded all my expectations. I’ve fallen in love with my home all over again and this time I have everything I want (without additional costs of moving house).
Luke and co - I can’t thank you guys enough for what you’ve done – it’s like me and my home have a new lease of life and I intend to make the very most of it!!! Cheers guys

We love it, Luke! The lads were all excellent workers & the kitchen is a breath of fresh air. Such a transformation! Seamlessly project-managed, quality workmanship. You brought in all the tradesmen - plasterers, plumbers, electricians, joiners, tilers, painters, granite specialists. Quality suppliers, real premium products & it shows. You can all come back for sausage barms anytime! A pleasure

Luke and his team were nothing short of fantastic throughout the entire project, totally transforming our Kitchen and Utility room. From the initial planning all the way through to completion the team were always on hand. Any issues were resolved immediately by Luke who would step in at any time of the day to help and provide a solution, communication throughout was exceptional.
We wanted a project managed job from start to finish which involved the team knocking down internal walls, installing steel’s, plastering, plumbing, electrics, flooring, the list goes on !
All of the guys were fantastic, polite and always on time. I would suggest the plasterers get some singing lessons though who enjoyed belting out various love songs every morning !
The finished product is better than we ever expected and the quality of the entire job is of the highest standard. If you are looking to transform your Kitchen then I would highly recommend CJK !

Luke, Joss and the rest of the CJK team did a fantastic job on our kitchen. We had constant communication from the start and the job started on time. We were always told what time they would arrive on site and the attention to detail whilst here was impeccable. A few panels were damaged and these were changed with no questions asked. The kitchen was left very tidy every night even though we weren’t entering the room before they returned in the morning.
Some challenges arose during the fitting but Luke always had a solution. I especially liked Luke’s view of clean lines, symmetrical and aesthetically pleasing vision. It was exactly what I wanted. I’m very pleased with the final result.

CJ&K have transformed our small kitchen and under-utilised 25 year old extension into a beautiful kitchen and downstairs shower room.
The communication from first call through to post completion has been excellent and that was really important to us.
We incorporated a number of Luke's ideas in to our original plan and the kitchen looks much better for them.
The job was started on time and ran over by 1 week which was completely acceptable given the current circumstances with Covid-19 restrictions - who knew plaster would be in short supply!
We wanted a project managed job and that was what we got. Labourers, fitters, electrician, plumbers, tilers, plasterers and quartz guys were all first class and lovely guys - nothing too much trouble and I am not easily pleased!
The icing on the cake was to have Bernadette come in and clean everything, loved that, thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for our fantastic space. We are absolutely delighted with it.

CJK have completely transformed my small cottage kitchen into a gorgeous and usable space. I couldn’t recommend the team more, everybody I met who worked on my kitchen was courteous and everything was completed in the expected timeframe. My entire experience was excellent from start to finish and the quality of the kitchen and skill of the team is amazing and I could not recommend CJK more. Thanks Luke and the team!

We used CJ&K to install the kitchen in our self build property. Luke and his team were very professional, diligent, imaginative and held our hand through the design and purchase stages. It was really refreshing to find someone in the building trade who turns up when they say they're going to turn up, completes a full day's work, is tidy, and most importantly, charges a reasonable price. We are delighted with the finished product, and it is definitely the centrepiece of the property. We simply could not have done it without the advice and support from Luke and his team.
These are a really hard working bunch of guys, and if you're passionate about supporting local businesses, and to a greater extent, good people, then simply do not hesitate to call them. The glowing feedback is richly deserved.
There's a reason they're busy. They're excellent.

Luke and his team have created my ultimate kitchen. From the planning to the finish, they were all courteous and professional, punctual and tidy. I had envisaged a nightmare, chaos and mess everywhere, but in fact there was very little disruption. The end result is amazing, everything exactly as discussed and planned!

Great service, prompt, efficient and skilled. Luke is meticulous in his approach and was very helpful in contacting the supplier when there were some issues with missing elements of the kitchen post delivery. I had a kitchen and Utility room redesign and it was very clear that Luke and Alex had a lot of experience - ensuring the finished product was very professional. I would certainly recommend CJK to anyone.

Cheshire Joinery & Kitchens carried out a kitchen upgrade at our office in Runcorn. We had new door and drawer fronts, worktop, painting and tiling. I can't rate Luke and his team highly enough. They were very professional and friendly and did a superb job and also kept everywhere clean and tidy. As a commercial job they had to supply all the H&S documents required, these were all in place and supplied to us readily. We will definitely be using Cheshire Joinery & Kitchens again in the future.

Fantastic job from these guys on my new kitchen. All requirements met and more, on budget, on time, attention to detail excellent. I've worked in projects a long time and Luke and Alex have it nailed. So polite, tidy and considerate. All queries are answered quickly and thoroughly with a real can do attitude. I know that this isn't a one off as they also fitted my parents kitchen last year.
The kitchen is still pristine and is a testament to the longstanding quality of their workmanship. If only there were more companies with the solid values and high quality standards of Cheshire Joinery and Kitchens, its a rarity these days. I "don't do reviews" but felt compelled to give due credit to Luke and the team. Alex also deserves a mention, great attitude and work ethic. Highly recommended.

This team are fantastic! Luke and Alex recently installed our kitchen and their work really was first class! After being messed about by several companies we were so happy to find a firm not only efficient but so friendly and polite! They went above and beyond to ensure all of their work was done to the highest standard and they are the tidiest tradesman we've ever had!
