We decided to get a kitchen extension and we're recommended Jim's team. We knew the extension wouldn't be an easy task as it required taking down a wall, adding a section onto the original kitchen, moving windows and digging up the floor for under floor heating. We also live on a road which isn't easy to park. When Jim came to quote he was happy to hear my ideas and at no point did he say things weren't possible or not give me the respect I deserved (as I find some builders to be quite patronising when dealing with a woman). I found jim and his team to be quite flexible and they started earlier than discussed which was good as we wanted it completed. Jim and his team were very professional and kept me up to date with the progress and asked my opinion if decisions needed making as we moved out so we weren't as easy to contact. They made the whole experience a lot less stressful than what it could of been as I had just had a baby as the work was being done. What I liked about Jim and his team, was that they were never looking for an easy way to do things it was always what would look better. For instance we only intended on moving one window but we moved all three in the end which to be honest made complete sense and looks amazing. They also were at the house whether it was snowing, raining or sunny and would do a full day. If they couldn't come for any reason they would say. Jim also helped me get in touch with other trades men to help me organise plumbing, electrical work and windows/ doors which was a massive help as I prefer recommendation. It was quite sad when they finished as I felt like I got to know them all. Really lovely team and I'm so glad we picked them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I can't recommend Jim and his other guys highly enough. They did a project for us at the back end of last year. They turned up every day, worked like trojans and were happy! Nothing was too much trouble and they kept us well informed all the way through the project. More importantly they're workmanship is absolutely first class, they are perfectionists in what they do and take a great deal of pride in their work. We would definitely use JB Construction again. They do exactly what they say they will.
