We recently had Fords here for a big job getting a completely new boiler and new pipework and radiators throughout our house. Steve, Jack and Josh were great through the whole process, clear at communicating and very friendly. They made a job that involved a lot of upheaval throughout the house as comfortable as possible and we would absolutely recommend.

DO NOT USE FORDS - their incompetence cost us £1000’s and we didn’t even employ them.
Fords managed to flood our ground floor when working on our neighbour’s house, as they commissioned a new heating system; Fords tapped into old pipes without checking where they led and it turned out the pipes led under the floor into our house. The manager verbally admitted full liability and apologised, agreeing to put everything right for me. But when the estimates came through he suddenly changed his stance and had no further direct dealings with me, referring everything to insurance. Subsequent conversations with my neighbours are full of tales of how sloppy the workmanship was, where even the boiler wasn’t fitted properly and other plumbers have had to be employed to rectify the faults.
The finger was pointed at me as the guilty party for not having capped off pipes under my floor (because when you buy a house you rip up all your floors and check all the pipes, don’t you!). Not only does the standard of work reek of incompetence, it is morally outrageous that you floodp someone’s property, causing £1000’s of damage, then flee from the scene, apparently exonerated of all blame. Sickening.
