Mick Ward, the founder of Connaught Carpets, started his career in the flooring industry when he was just 16. Never a huge fan of school, he left as soon as he could to start an apprenticeship. Working for a first class flooring company and dealing with clients such as Brown & Muff and Waring & Gillow, Mick worked to the highest of standards and became accustomed to exceptional craftsmanship and premium customer service. This set the benchmark for the standards and quality of everything he did from then on.
