Glos PAT is a professional electrical safety testing company offering a low cost, quick and reliable Portable Appliance Testing service. Ensuring total customer care with up-to-date technology and software but still satisfying an increasingly competitive market. Domestic, Commercial, Industrial customers including many local businesses, hotels, bed & breakfasts etc. Based in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury we provide a low cost service to fit into your schedule, including an out of hour's service.
We believe that electrical safety is important and that portable appliance testing (PAT Testing) should be made available to everyone, and we understand that the two major factors in this are cost and the worry of being charged for hidden extras such as call out charges and bills for additional labor. We're confident that our straightforward pricing structure will set your mind at ease. We also offer a while you wait pat testing service at our premises in Gloucester. This means if you have a few items that need testing you can simply give us a call then come over to our workshop and bring your items that you need testing.
PAT stands for portable Appliance Testing. This is a process by which electrical appliances are routinely checked to see whether they are safe to use. We would inspect, test and certify all your portable appliances and provide advice as to their condition and safety. We would provide a written report together with a test certificate as evidence that your appliances have been inspected and tested in compliance with the Regulations. Each appliance would be tested for earth continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and earth leakage.

Its amazing what you learn whilst PAT Testing. The secret behind these absolute beauties is red hot tray, but cold fat. And make the batter the day before.
