Leicester Machine Movers Limited were established in 1988 by Richard Evans in Glenfield, Leicestershire running two vehicles amidst the thriving knitting, textiles and footwear industries synonomous with Leicestershire at the time. Transporting machinery from one location to another became more necessary as new businesses were founded or existing ones moved premises and it soon became apparent that there was a need for a specialist handler and haulier of heavy machinery so we moved into new premises with larger storage facilities to accomodate larger machinery and equipment in Leicester City Centre.
