Working from his studio situated in the grounds of the beautiful Thoresby Estate Neil works predominantly in hardwoods such as Oak and Walnut and specializes in incorporating exotic burrs and marquetry within his work. This provides endless, exciting avenues that would otherwise not be possible, the only limit is your own imagination.

Started work on the card table top today. The new marquetry is ready to go but I have to apply new veneer to the edges first. Cant wait see how close I can get the restored table to the one in better condition!
Replacing the ends of two of the feet of this tripod table. One had woodworm, the other was partly missing. There is always a way to clamp even the most irregular shapes.
Today I've been working on replacement marquetry for a Victorian card table. I'm looking forward to getting this pressed and polished.
