Hydro DeScaling, the founder member of the Hydro Group of Companies was formed in 1977 and is still a privately owned family business. InSewer Surveys have invested heavily in the latest CCTV surveying technology. Our survey units have been custom built to incorporate the most efficient use of available workspace for our engineers and clients. All of our heated survey units are now powered by on board battery technology which are much more environmentally friendly - gone are the days of noisy generators! We use the most modern CCTV survey equipment. Our survey units have both tractor and push rod systems. We also now carry fully mobile battery powered units for work in basements, rear gardens etc.

Mapping the location and depth of underground utilities and drainage prior to excavation or design works can provide significant benefits by reducing the risk of errors, unnecessary work and interruption to services. Our underground tracing teams are fully trained and equipped with the latest technology including multi-frequency electromagnetic location equipment. Upon completion of the site survey detailed digital drawings are prepared and overlaid onto topographical/land survey information and issued to the client in both CAD and PDF format.

We are a Local and Water Authority approved Contractor able to perform minor construction and repairs to sewers and water mains where needed via excavation. Essentially a joint less, seamless, pipe-within-a-pipe where a polyurethane coated felt tube is either winched or inverted through defective pipe lines and expanded to the contours of the host pipe with the pressure from either water or air, depending on which process. After curing the liner will form a hard, tough, structural pipe inside the old defective pipe.

Our rapid response teams are on hand to deal with your blockage and flood clearance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our emergency van packed jetting units are fully equipped with the latest specialist drain cleaning equipment, high pressure water jetting, electro-mechanical coring machines, satellite tracking and communication systems to isolate and rectify the problem as quickly as possible. Our service provides the perfect means of clearing blockages in hard to reach places such as blocked, foul and surface water drainage systems, down-pipes, toilets, sinks, urinals, grease traps and rain water gullies.

We're on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to deal with unexpected drain blockages and our highly qualified teams regularly clean and de silt sewers and surface water drains from 100mm through to 1000mm diameter culverts. Our fleet of medium and high volume combination jetting / vacuum tankers ensure that every situation is covered. Hydro Descaling is a registered Waste Carrier under the disposal of Waste Regulations 2011.

Our specialist high pressure jets are specifically suited to the removal of hard deposits from sewers and pipes. These deposits take the form of anything from cement and hard scale to tree root infiltration. You name it, we can remove it! Our specialist rotating jetting nozzles are either self-propelled or winched through the sewer or pipe line while the turbo assisted Century Harben pumps boast operating pressures of up to 10,000 psi, ensuring that all stubborn debris is removed. All works are monitored by CCTV and water pressure is controllable to ensure that no damage occurs to the host pipe and that blockages and obstructions are completely removed.
