Examples of different bespoke handmade tiles and tile panels for different situations - both public and private spaces - bathroom tiles, kitchen tiles, splashback tiles, wet room and shower tile panels, dado tiles, border tiles, and plain tiles. This is not a catalogue but may give you an idea of some of the possibilities. Bronwyn Williams-Ellis' studio in Old Orchard, central Bath is just off Walcot Street in the historic workshop area of the city, a use which dates back to the Roman period. The studio is her working space and visitors are very welcome.
For over 30 years I have specialised in designing and making bespoke ceramic tiles. Using that expertise and artistic technique I can create for you your own original and striking tile projects. My handmade tiles can be found on the internal walls of all sorts of buildings and appear in many books on contemporary tiles including the British Museum's ‘5000 years of tiles' which illustrates a wall mounted ceramic ‘sculpture'. Trained as a ceramist in Cardiff College of Art I moved into the landscape of Wales like many in the 1970s, building a massive truck kiln to fire substantial slab built garden troughs and figures of high fired stoneware.
