Before and After: An Arts and Crafts remodelled house @ianadamsmithar chitects, the client wanted to soften the terraced walls with relaxed 'Jekyllesque' planting. In time the walls should weather and the plants appear to cascade over the terraces. Sadly the historic stone was too brittle to reuse.
Borders: Winter is a good time to rethink borders and boost planting schemes with new ideas. This cut flower garden had become tired and swamped by more dominant varieties, so the plants were lifted, divided and some put back, but space left for new and exciting ideas for the summer ahead.
