Our Managing Director Jim oversees the general running of the company's operations and is our Health & Safety Director. Coming from an Electrical Engineering background he has worked within the building industry for over 40 years. Jim oversees the Reactive Maintenance, and Specialist Planned Works, as well as assisting with the needs of our existing clients and workforce. Since joining Chew Valley Construction in 1999, Jodi has progressed from a secretarial position to now being a Director. Jodi oversees the general running of the company, dealing with client's needs, overseeing managers, office staff and the workforce and ensuring compliance with our various accreditations is maintained.
Our team of Engineers are fully competent and experienced in working with high pressure cold water jetting systems and computerised CCTV. We also undertake graffiti removal with specialist chemicals and high level canopy and glazing cleaning. We use Wincan software to produce first class drainage reports. Our day to day service includes fast response unblocking and sanitising washroom facilities and retail park drainage systems. The equipment we use is of the highest standard and regularly updated to meet the requirements of our valued customers.

The services we provide are extensive and the value of these works ranges from £100 - £25,000. The maintenance facility incorporates providing a fast response to not only emergency works but general day to day requests for quotations. Quotations can often be surveyed, prepared and submitted to our clients within a 24hr period, when required. Once works are authorised, more often than not they are completed the following day. Our groundworks division specialises in foundations, floor slabs, ground beans, road ways, kerbing, water harvesting tanks, drainage, manholes, land drains which gives us a wealth of experience with any groundworks projects, big or small.
Our electrical division provides professional quality assured electrical contracting serving the commercial, industrial and domestic business sectors. We are registered with the NICEIC as an Approved Contractor and part P approved Domestic Installer. Registration requires periodic assessment to ensure all our electrical work is carried out to the latest national safety standard BS7671 and all work is covered by a Guarantee of Standards. In addition we are a member of the Electrical Contractors' Council (ECA) further demonstrating our commitment to professional quality assured electrical contracting.
