The Old Radiator

The Old Radiator Company, which also covers Surrey, Sussex and London areas, continues to have a large selection of cast iron radiators on display and is open 5 days a week with weekends available by appointment. We deliver to you in our own transport in any part of the country. Due to the Government restrictions the showroom will remain closed, the office is open for telephone enquiries, orders and payments. The workshop and deliveries are operating with extra measures in place in line with guidelines.

We (Andy and Fiona Triplow) set up the Old Radiator Company business in Kent in 2000 following an extensive hunt in salvage yards for items for the refurbishment of our Victorian house which needed original features added back. We toured around many yards to source suitable original cast iron radiators but we were disappointed as these salvage yards were only able to supply the size/styles they have in stock and these were only offered in a lacquered finish. We realised we were not alone in wanting these wonderful original features to fit into modern central heating system but not wanting to compromise on heat output, style or colour and so the Old Radiator Company was born.

The Quoted prices include painting in one of our stock colours please refer to the list of colours below. We can colour match other companies paint colours or paint in any customer specified RAL number for an additional 50 for one radiator or 30 per radiator for two or more radiators in the same colour/finish. Please note colour matched paint may appear a slightly different shade due to the solvent base and different surface. The Ardenbrite colour matched metallic paint finishes are charged at an additional from 150 per radiator.
