You might not know it but sometimes to obtain that perfect paint or wallpaper finish on your walls requires a lot of preparation on your walls or ceiling. Sometimes old plaster can become as we call it "blown, " meaning that the old plaster has come away from the coatings underneath, this can happen due to a variety of reasons, mostly because the plaster is old, has been poorly constructed the first time or if you have Lath & Plaster. Lath and Plaster tends to be in properties built before the 1930's after this time plasterboard was introduced, plasterboard has been found not to crack as Lath & Plaster does.
