Drain Clearance - Anything from unblocking a toilet or a clogged sink to High Pressure Water Jetting and cleaning of blocked drains. Drain Lining & Relining - For the refurbishment of damaged and leaking pipes, to stop a reoccurence of root ingress and pitch-fibre pipe reforming and renovation. We use Brawoliner which has no smell and can line around multiple bends. The furthest we have ever lined in one go is 50m. We offer a genuine fixed price of 100 plus VAT (120 total) to clear a blocked drain, toilet or sink at a single private property in our local area which includes Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, Totnes, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Bovey Tracey and extends all the way to Exeter.
The Company is still run by Ken, aided by his son, James, and long term employee Adam. We provide just drainage services, including clearance (anything from a clogged sink to a blocked main drain), surveys (including pre purchase and sewer buildover), lining (& relining), pitch-fibre pipe reforming (rerounding) and renovation, repairs and renewals and high pressure water jetting. Drain lining (and relining) including patch lining. Also called cured in place plastic (CIPP) lining. Our 'No Dig' solutions save money and avoid disruption, whilst giving an end product that is often stronger than the original pipe.
Whatever the method, it is usually drain lining rather than relining. Although on at at least two occasions we have reamed out wrinkles in someone else's liner and lined over what remained. In which case the term relining was correct. This is probably the most common system in use. The liner is a long layflat hose of a polyester felt with a plastic outer film. There is a longitudinal seam that is bonded and may be stitched as well. Resin is poured into the liner and forced through with a roller.
We have been clearing blocked drains for over 30 years. As we have come across different drainage problems, we have invested in the specialist plant and equipment in order to be able to deal with whatever blockages come our way. With these, water is pumped at high pressure through a steel reinforced hose fitted with a nozzle at the end that has (mainly) rearward facing holes - designs vary with application. The resulting jets of water propel the hose into the drain. When a blockage is encountered, it is liquified by the water.
These are becoming more commonplace; and with very good reason. Even if the manholes look good inside and there are no signs of blockages, the actual drain pipes may have major defects that would only be visible were a CCTV camera be put down the drain. Our pre-purchase surveys include a movie of all of the accessible runs of drain and a written report that includes a scale plan of the drain layout and photos of defects that were observed with the camera together with recommendations and costing allowances where appropriate.
