This may be the worst problem of all: Everything seems like it's working mostly as it should be, but the problem gradually gets worse over time until you realize the clothes are still sopping wet after a full cycle. The culprit here could be a faulty heating element. If the heating element isn't working properly, the dryer will still spin and the cycle will complete, but it won't get hot enough to help dry the clothes. Heating elements can naturally wear out over time, but overloading the dryer, not cleaning the lint screen and poor ventilation can all speed up that process.
A common problem is a blocked filter at the bottom of the machine or a blocked drain pump. In this case the best thing to do initially is to clear the filter out. Sometimes the plug is very difficult or impossible to unscrew, because it has not been opened for a while or never, in this case, try and use pliers to turn the plug. But be careful, you don't want to break the plug. If you can feel that this does not help and it does not open, leave the plug and move the washing machine out from the unit.
After working in the appliance repair industry for a long time we have a list of common problems that can occur with electric ovens and cookers which we share with you below. Check the fuse and check whether there is power supply to the oven, for example if the oven is connected to a wall switch, sometimes the switch is faulty. Check if you haven't accidentally switched off the oven by pressing the power switch button.
