He trained as a bricklayer at the age of 16 and went on to spend many years in a management role at Travis Perkins in Erdington. David shares his passion and expertise of the sector with his cousin Simon, who runs a similar business in Halesowen. The two join forces on various projects. David's brother Paul, a former police officer, also regularly helps out with repairs, while his wife Jane is company secretary.
